I bought this as a birthday gift, the happy user is delighted with it. It is an excellent fishing rod, has red trim, and a medium action which at 9ft is great for casting from a canoe. It arrived safely packaged and in good time. Excellent Affordable Rod
I looked at various reviews on Google for the best fishing rods and the Shakespeare Ugly Stick was rated within the top 3 on most reviews. It’s very lightweight and has a huge amount of flex, which is great for landing larger fish. It’s great value at under £40 as well.
