The reel has many features like strong gearing (HAGANE Gear) and waterproofness (CoreProtect). What is unique about this reel, is the very low gear ratio (4.3:1) and very low retrieve speed (57 cm per rotation). This reel is very suitable for fishing techniques where ultra light / light spinning rods are used. Because of the very low gear ratio, it has a powerful and slow retrieve. This slow retrieve is very beneficial for certain fishing techniques where slow fishing can be the key to catch most fish. For example: Trout Area fishing.
