Highly Trustworthy
I've tried the high strength monos, fluorocarbons, etc. But green Maxima in 6lb BS has been beyond the highest praise in my experience. After trying some specialised monos notably Drennan high test stuff and founds its knot holding and general tendency to snap under modest strain I reverted to Maxima and never used anything else since, either in 2lb 4lb or 6lb strains. Excellent knot strength, general unwillingness to break even in heavy trout... I no longer carry anything else for leader material.
