COMPAC ROD HOLDALL 2ROD – 12FT The Korda Compac Two Rod Holdall is designed to hold two made up rods and reels. Fully padded it offers a compact solution for 12ft rods. A further two rods can be added externally with or without rod sleeves. I’d been looking for and trying various quivers and holdalls but this is by far the best for how I want to use it. I don’t use a barrow so carrying the holdall was important. As far as I can tell, this is the only holdall/quiver where the carry handles and strap are on the opposite side to the rod and reel pockets. This means that the reels hang naturally under their own weight. All others, the handle is on the side which means the reels fall into a heap and put the line under unnecessary pressure. It’s light and well padded at the same time and is very well made. I’d like a bank stick pouch but I’ve got round that by using one of the outer rod pouches. A carry strap or hook at the top (there’s one on the bottom) would be very handy for hanging up on a tree branch etc. Would I buy it again? Definitely.
