I already own a W8 Powercast T 25-100g and wanted something for the really big hard lures and soft plastics I like to use. I couldn't find much info on the Monsterstick 7'9" 130-260g online compared to some of Westin's other rods so was a bit worried it would be a real poker but it is surprisingly flexible for the rating with a slightly softer tip to it. Being one long section plus handle gives it a powerful but smooth bend under load. It actually casts lures of 28g and above quite nicely so can be used as an all round rod if needed. Fit and finish on the new 2nd Edition W3 rods is even better than the previous ones so you really don't need to spend more. Very happy indeed and quite a bargain.
