I now have 3 of these rods ranging from 9 to 7 1/2 ft, lovely slim and powerful blanks but let down by the oversized butt/collector ring which makes it difficult to store or carry. Is it beyond the bounds of possibility for Savage Gear to design a collapsible butt ring?
